Corid (amprolium) 9.6% Oral Solution

CORID is the first product specifically labeled to both treat and prevent bovine coccidiosis.

CORID is also available as 20% Soluble Powder. CORID 25% Type A Medicated Article can be purchased as an in-feed (1.25% or 2.5%) product, direct from licensed feed manufacturers.

CORID® (amprolium) is indicated as an aid in the treatment and prevention of coccidiosis (bloody scours) caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zurnii in calves.

CAUTION: For a satisfactory diagnosis, a microscopic examination of the feces should be done before treatment. When treating outbreaks, drug should be administered promptly after diagnosis is determined.

CORID is a coccidiostat which can be administered in drinking water, or as a drench.

Structurally, CORID resembles Vitamin BI, but actually has no nutritive value. Coccidia need Vitamin B1 for development and reproduction.When coccidia ingest CORID, they experience thiamin deficiency, causing coccidia to starve from malnutrition.

• For prevention, use a 21-day prevention program.
